Terms and conditions apply for all prizes

All participants will go in the draw to win an E11even M1x10 mountain bike. The prize package is valued at $1,300. Prize will be drawn on the day of the event under supervision.

There is a trophy for the fastest male and fastest female participant on the day.

Steppers who raise over $500 by 4pm on Friday 1 August will receive a Step Up T-shirt which can be collected at registration on the day.

Prize terms and conditions

1. Entry into the Step Up Sky Tower Event 2025 is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions of the Step Up Sky Tower 2025 Prize Draw.
2. Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC) reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in the Promotion, on reasonable grounds.
3. The fundraising period runs from 24 April 2025 to 2pm on Friday 1 August 2025. For the purposes of choosing winners in the competition, any donations, funds banked after this time, or pending payments will not be included in your total at the time of the competition closing.
4. The winner of the night for two at Horizon by SkyCity will be the individual with the highest fundraising total and the winner of the YETI Rambler Flask prize will be the individual with the second highest fundraising total as of 2pm on Friday 1 August 2025 (as shown on their fundraising page (on the Step Up Sky Tower website) at that time)). Winners will be announced at the event on Sunday 3 August and notified by phone, email or direct message.
5. The mountain bike draw will be selected by a random draw under supervision at the event on Sunday 3 August at 1pm. Each participant gets one (1) entry into the draw.
6. All winners will be published on the Step Up Sky Tower website after the winners have been notified and in an eDM out to participants post event.
7. LBC's determination of the winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The prize(s) are not redeemable for cash. In the event that the prize specified in the Competition becomes unavailable for any reason, LBC may substitute a prize of like or equal value.
9. The winner takes the prize entirely at their own risk and indemnifies LBC in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the prize.

Prize details

Top Individual Fundraiser Prize:
One night in a King Room for two people at Horizon by SkyCity. Subject to date availability when booking. Guest is to settle any incidental extras.

Second Highest Fundraiser Prize:
A navy YETI Rambler 36 oz (1065 ml) Bottle With Chug Cap RRP $80.

Mountain Bike Prize Draw Prize:
An E11even M1x10 mountain bike valued at $1,300. The E11EVEN M1x10 features an aluminum frame with a suspension fork up front. It rolls on 29-inch wheels (with quick releases rather than through axles) and hydraulic disc brakes. The E11EVEN M1x10 features one gear up front and ten out back.

There is a trophy for the fastest male and fastest female participant on the day which are given according to the official time results based on participant timing chips.

As spaces for this event are limited and highly sought after, the organisers may at their discretion remove a participant and refund the registration fee where no attempt at fundraising has been made.
